Training

Many Radio Amateurs became licensed through courses run by Colchester Radio Amateurs.

There have been many changes to the exam system over the years and CRA have maintained a high degree of excellence in training throughout.

CRA have adapted to the new 3 tier licensing system and have been responsible for hundreds of new licensees at Foundation and Intermediate level and are currently running some workshops for the full license.

Foundation Courses are partially home study and partially classroom based. the date of the next course will be published here when it is known.

Intermediate courses are classroom based and run one night per week for 10 weeks.. We do not have a course scheduled at the moment.

Full license courses are currently being run as Ad-Hoc workshops for club members only.
